Hard to believe in the lost of a friend we have known for so many years. I remember you being bestman at our wedding in 67′. Of course, our friendship goes back many years ago in school. I am so glad we have remained friends through the years. You will be dearly missed my friend but we are so thankful for knowing you.

Gloria,
I can’t imagine what you are going through right now, but my prayers are with you and your family. To lose a husband of so many years is a tragedy in and of itself. Your life is going to change dramatically, and I pray that God will guide you and strengthen you every step of the way. He cries with you, and is always with you as you make your way one second at a time each day forward. Words can’t describe what is in my heart, the compassion I feel. We all live with the knowledge that life is a gift and so brief. I wish you had more time to enjoy with your husband, but it wasn’t meant to be. Treasure the memories, and enjoy your family and friends. They will see you through. I pray for blessings unbelievable for you in the future. Take care, and make it through one day at a time.

I first met Don over 25 years ago when we work as together. He introduced himself and said he was my neighbor two doors down. We have had a mutual respect for each other over the years. We have been through floods, hurricanes, and tropical storms on our block. We knew we could ask each other for help if needed. To Gloria, Alan and Marc; if there’s anything I can do to help through your time of sorrow please ask, I’m only two doors down. I will miss my friend and neighbor. He’s gone too soon.
