John & Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Russ was a wonderful man. A special memory that I have is going to his home with my mother Jan on Sundays and he would make the best Lamb ever, to this day nothing compares to it. Russ will surely be missed but I know I have a special angel watching over me. Russ I miss you, you will be in my heart forever.

I grew up across the street from Russ. He was always so nice to us neighborhood kids. He would let us swim in his pool and always had kit-kat chocolates on hand. He will always be a part of the good memories from my childhood. I will miss him very much. May God bless him and his family.

I will miss my grandfather very much, he was an important part of my life. He taught me many things in life, like how to be a man and to always take care of your family.I’ll never forget how he always called me a turkey growing up or all the times I swam in his pool. The last time I saw him he said”Chris you got fat” he was always a straight shooter in life I believe he is still right now. When I was down for the funeral my two son’s Steve 10 & Matthew 8 got to swim in grandpa’s pool, it felt kind of nice that not only did I grow up swimming in granpa’s pool, but now so have my children. You will be missed and never will I forget you.
I Love you Grandpa,
Your Grandson Chrs
