Dear Uncle Alan, We all miss you and have thought of you often over the last year. Your passing was very unexpected and sudden for all of us. I am really happy though that you and I were able to spend about 5 weekends together out of the previous 10 before your passing. I have a lot of memories of you, and I feel fondness as I reflect back on them. There are many funny stories, and you made us all laugh. Thank you for helping me during my times of need. I think it was truly amazing that you were such a tireless worker for so many years. It was so impressive to me that I have shared your work ethic, especially in your later years, with so many people. We will all see you again. We love you and miss you. Your nephew, Tim
