Powell, David R. 63, of Cooper City, passed away after a long illness on February 12, 2012. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Richard & Marion nee Warburton Powell; and sister Virginia Monteiro. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol; his children Stephen Powell Mary and Susan Ray Coleman; grandchildren Phillip, Daniel, Kate & Logan; sister Linda Somers Jim; niece Cheryl; nephews James & Sean; stepmother Ruth Powell; and aunt Ruth Warburton. Friends may visit Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 6-8 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime service beginning at 7:00 PM at Boyd Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood.
