Maria D. Carrazana, a loving sister and aunt, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the age of 85. She was born in Medellin, Colombia on June 3, 1931, to the late Alejandro Torres and Ester Agudelo. Although, Maria did not attend school for long, she was a smart woman, excellent, loving and caring human being. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Ornesto Carrazana and her brother, Alejandro Torres. Survived by her sisters, Lucia Escobar viuda de Efrain Escobar, Mariela Estrada viuda de Jorge Estrada y Ester Torres viuda de Jorge Torres. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
