Betty Sue Orr, 88, of Hollywood, went to be with Our Lord on April 3, 2016. Born in Green Cove Springs, FL, she was raised in Wrightsville, GA, until she married the love of her life, Wendell Orr, in 1944. After a short time in New York while Wendell was in the Coast Guard, they settled in Hollywood. A member of the First Baptist Church Of Hollywood since 1946, she was an active participant in many church activities. Recently, she coordinated donations to the Pure Water, Pure Love project, which became her passion. She is predeceased by her husband, Wendell Orr, her daughter, Wendy Orr Rubel, her son-in-law, Ken Brown, and her adoring cat, Thumper. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Brown, her grandson, James (JJ) Brown and his wife, Mary Brown, the light of her life, her great-granddaughter, Penelope Brown, and her son-in-law, Ron Rubel. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, from 6-8 PM, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care. Funeral Service will be Friday, April 8, 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hollywood, followed by Interment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens. The family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the First Baptist Church of Hollywood, subject: Pure Water Project.

My heart and thoughts are with you today and will be tomorrow also. I always look forward to seeing her at the reunions, she was a breath of sunshine. Love to all. Jane and Pete Allen
