I met Dick years ago when I was married to Richard Schlenker. We remained friends but only called each other once in a while. I loved to hear him play the piano years ago.We corresponded when he was helping a young dyslexic girl since I had taught school and was able to provide some info. We talked the last time in early December …he never mentioned that he was ill. I often heard about you and Ricky. I’ m so sorry to hear of his passing.

I met Dick in 1953 at Boston College High School. He was a great football and hockey player and loved to read. He and my mother whom he often saw in the FL Keys in the early 1990’s and my family became good friends. He had a wonderful career in the Navy. And so it goes, so it goes.
