Sofika J. Jovanov, 67, of Hollywood, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family the night of June 15, 2017. She was born in Alibunar, Yugoslavia, to parents Jon Komanesku and Draga (Budelan) Komanesku. Survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Gavrilo Jovanov; son, Marcello (Dorina) Jovanov; grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian) Chalwater, Marcel Jovanov; and great-grandchildren, Addison Chalkwater and Amelia Chalkwater. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.

Dear Gabe and Family Sorry to learn about Sofika’s passing. She was a very nice lady and sad that her final years were thoes of much pain and discomfort. She is now at peace.
