JOHNSON, Raymond Yandell, 78, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. He was born on September 6, 1936, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Raymond Henry Johnson and Elizabeth Mary Yandell. Raymond honorably served in the US Army from 1967-1974, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He received the Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Maritorious Service Medal among many others. His memory and legacy will always be remembered by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Suk Hui; children, Raymond Melody Johnson, Anthony Teresa Johnson, Joseph Winter Johnson, Lorraine Richard Brown; grandchildren. Bryan, Christopher, Jordan and Madison. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 12-2 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 1:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care. A memorial service followed at the Veterans of Foreign War. Urn Committal Service with Military Honors will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2015, 11:30 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
