Armstrong, Ryan Eugene, age 40, of Deerfield Beach, FL Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Ryan was born on April 4, 1974 in Fort Lauderdale. He was a member of the first graduating class of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 1992. He loved his family and friends, and he was a devoted fan of the Miami Hurricanes, Heat, and Dolphins. Ryan is survived by his mother, Jean Abernathy, and stepmother Isela Armstrong; grandmother Joyce Abernathy; sisters Rebecca Lougee Jeff, Stephanie Ramjas Ian, Kristin Strickland Jamie, Portia Rix, and Patricia Ledon; and brothers Victor Ledon Rebecca and Charles Rix. Ryan had a special place in his heart for nieces Lydia and Jessica and nephews Dominic, Maverick, and Jaxon. Ryan is preceded in death by his father James Armstrong; grandparents Jasper and Ida Armstrong and Eugene Abernathy and nephew Isaiah. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, 2101 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale on Saturday January 3 at 11 AM.

Dear Ryan,
So much of my life has changed since u have left . Our world is no longer this place as we once thought.
I do truly believe that I this feel ur presence around me at all times.!!! I love that feeling …
I thought I could get on here to share wth u how I’ve been feeling lately… I really wanted to thank u for allowing me to be able to stay alert, & to keep calm, Which helps me stay safe..
