Shirley C. Staine, 88, of Hallandale, entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 8, 2015, at North Shore Medical Center. She was born on July 17, 1926, in Belize. She was the daughter of the late Michael Staine and Maud King. Shirley is survived by her loving daughter and friend, Carolyn Clark; brother Gilbert Ellis; and her dear niece, Glenda Guerrier. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015, between 5-8 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 21, starting at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens north.

The news of my grandmothers passing has finally reached me here in Nevada. Although we never truly had the opportunity to form a tight relationship , I always felt her love and support from many miles away. I wish I would have gotten to know my grandmother better but circumstance and geography got in the way. My father was Errol Clarke her son and the two of them are now in heaven together which is the only happiness I can salvage from this very dim period. To all those affected I send you my deep heart felt condolences I did have the opportunity to meet many of you back in the winter of 2002. I truly had hope we would have had another chance to talk face to face grandma but I know that thru the Lord Jesus Christ we will meet again and be able to catch up.
