Richter, Alexis Edward, age 86, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
He was born in 1932, in New York City, New York, to the late Alexis and Anna (Timlin) Richter. He proudly served this country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He later became a Fire Fighter with the Metro-Dade Fire Department from which he retired.
A faithful, easy going, generous, and loyal man. He was truly loved by his family. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed deep sea fishing and boating with the family.
He will be forever missed by his devoted wife, Louise Richter; his loving children, Karen Corpuz, Kim Richter, Chris Richter, and Keith Richter; his grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, Corey, Dustin, and Aubrey.
In addition to his parents, Alexis was predeceased by his brother and two sisters.
A memorial mass and Inurnment with Military Honors to be held at a future date.

We knew Uncle Rick to always be mild-mannered, soft spoken, and a gentleman. I believe he is now being rewarded in Paradise. He is finally at complete peace and his earthly suffering is forever over. Love and Sympathy to each of you, Janet & Carmine
