Lydia del Castillo, 98, a long time resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018. She was born on August 3, 1919, in Havana, Cuba to the late Mario del Castillo and Alicia Godinez. She is survived by her niece, Mirtha (Chris) Hernndez; nephew, Rene M. (Maria-Cristina) Hernandez; and his great-niece, Adriana Hernandez. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at Our lady of Mercy Cemetery Chapel. Internment to follow.
