Gonzalez Sanchez, Hector Luis, 80, a loving husband, father and grandfather, of Pembroke Pines, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Hector was born on December 30, 1934, in Caguas, PR, to the late Felipe Gonzalez and Benigna Sanchez. He honorably served our country as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army between 1960-1971 earning the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with divide 60 Bronze Star Medal, Staff Service Medal among many others. His memory will always be cherished by his devoted wife, Margarita Gonzalez Santos; his beloved children, Hector Felipe Cathy Gonzalez, Diane Gonzalez, Annette Gonzalez and her husband, Scott Sternlieb; and also his loving granddaughter, Alexandra M.
