Roushay, Donna Renee, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, of Cooper City, peacefully entered into rest surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the age of 61. She was born on April 25, 1953, in Miami, Florida, to parents Perry and Virginia Madson nee Ivester. Survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Joseph John Roushey; her loving children, Kristina Winstel Jason, Joseph M. Roushay Alicia and Katherine Hammerman Steven; and her 6 adored grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel on Sunday, August 24, 2014, between 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tributes of a Lifetime & Prayer Service be begin at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 25, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at Saint David Catholic Church, followed by Interment at Forest Lawn South Cemetery.

Although I hadn’t seen Donna for many years, we were inseparable in junior high and high school. The only time I ever skipped school, it was with her. We had a great day; it was definitely worth the trouble we got into. We had wonderful years in Band together and burned up plenty of phone time. I know how much her family and friends will miss her; she was fun and loving and had a huge heart. I know she is at peace and has left her earthly suffering behind. May God bless her family and everyone who will feel her loss.
