Emilia Garay, 87, of Hollywood, passed way peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was born on April 3, 1927, in Santiago, Cuba. Emilia was the daughter of Manuel Ibanez and Juana Maria Fajardo. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernardo Garay. She is survived by her brother, Mario Ibanez; sister, Antonia Pena; her life partner of 15 years, Jose Artola; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2015, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel located inside Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum.
