MARTORANA, Antonino L. “Nino”, a loving father and grandfather, of Weston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 3, 2017, after 94 wonderful years of life. He was born on July 4, 1923, in Palermo, Italy, to the late Antonio Martorana and Caterina Lipari. For many years, Nino, worked as a meat butcher at Doris Italian Market in Hollywood. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Gaetana Costanzo-Martorana in 2014. Survived by his sons, Antonio (Antonina) Martorana, Guiseppe (Elisia) Martorana; daughter, Catarina (Lorenzo) Saia; grandchildren, Anthony Saia, Amanda Saia, Daniel Saia, Francesco Martorana and Annalisa Martorana. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 6:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 7, 11:30 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn South Cemetery.
