David’s Mom and Dad: Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may you find comfort from the time and laughter you enjoyed together. Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help you cope with your tomorrow. While we are mourning the loss of your son, others are rejoicing to meet with him in Heaven. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. Javier and Fatima it will be the little things that you will remember from David, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, and although it may seem so hard right now, it will be the memories of these simple things the God will use to help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality. BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO MOURN, FOR THEY SHALL BE COMFORTED. Loosing someone is never easy especially at such a young age, we are really sorry for your loss, at times like these you have to lean on your FAITH and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us. David was a beautiful soul, he made my times in Miami full of laughter, we yelled at seagulls as children, who else would have done that with me? David was a beautiful soul. I will keep you forever in my heart my dear cousin. I will see you soon when the holy shepard calls for me David, I just do not know when but until he does I will live my life everyday for us David my beautiful sweet cousin. Love you always!

My dear family, My Tio, my Tia, my cousins Channel, Michelle, my precious Kelly and David. My best memories of Miami have always been spending time with my favorite cousins Kelly and David. We were always together, us four, Kelly, Denise, David and I. We found fun and laughter in anything we did, taking mangos and coconuts, adventuring into the night, putting our change together to take the bus to the beach. These memories I now hold so dear to my heart. The lord wants us to be strong but my heart is hurting, I know he wants us to learn from life but I am in a daze. One of my favorite cousins has passed, my precious little cousin how I think of you before I sleep hoping you have found your peace, I will think of you everyday dear cousin of mine. I am still in a daze of how quickly this has all happened I am not sure what to feel.

It used to be us four, it will still always be us four, Kelly, Denise and I will live for you dear David. Little cousin I love you so much, I love my family dearly. Every memory of you I have ever had has always been of happiness, more happiness, laughter and fun. Growing up with you and Kelly I have had the best memories, the young ones we were. What makes me feel a little better is that all our memories were the best! I can never say we did not have the best of times, that is what makes me feel heartbroken is that we could not continue those memories, but I have fond ones to recount on. Dear cousin of mine, I remember your mom, my tia Fatima, would always call you “mi cielo”, my sky, my heaven, when I look to the sky now I will always think of my David, my dear cousin, a sheep once lost that the holy shepard has finally guided back into his loving arms, the sky, heaven.

Thank you all for the beautiful words. We are devastated by the loss of our son, but comforted by the fact that he is now with his Heavenly Father. Like my beautiful niece said, David is a sheep who has been guided by the heavenly Shepard back into his arms. Please pray for my family and I, that we may find Gods peace. Thank you again. -Fatima

Felix and Fatima,
My heart cried when I was told of the shocking loss that your family has suffered. There are not enough words to describe how very deeply sorry I am to learn of the passing of your son. I cannot begin to comprehend the agonizing sorrow that you are living. I pray that the Lord will help you find solace in the memories that you hold of David and peace in knowing that he is now with our Heavenly Father.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids.
