Simmons, Lisa Marie, a loving daughter, mother and sister, passed away after a long and courageous battle with MS on Thursday, March 20, 2014, in Davie, FL. She was born on December 6, 1963, in Pittsburgh, PA, to parents Bernard A. Simmons and Diane Simmons Macaluso. Besides her parents, she is also survived by her loving daughter, Alisha Simmons; brothers, Matthew Simmons and Mark Simmons; and her dear sister, Kathleen Serrano. Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 6-10 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Lisa’s memory be made to Happi Farms, 17800 SW 52nd Court, Southwest Ranches, FL 33331.
