It was wonderful to see what nice comments have already made my mother’s guestbook! what an age we now live in! The truth is that my mother needs no extra prayers. You see, my mother invented the term “unconditional love”. There is no purgatory for her. She went straight up and joined my father like the space shuttle! She gave, and then she gave- and then she gave until it hurt- and then she gave some more. Never once can I recall one instant when she put her own well being, comfort, or joy ahead of any of us kids- or our dear father. She was the closest thing I can relate to, -to our blessed Mother Mary. Pure of any earthly vices. The world will never know of how thankful and special I feel, because I am her son. She lives in me daily, as I try to honor her by acting, believing, and behaving as I know she would approve. God has blessed all of us who knew her. God has bestowed an extra blessing on me- as I loved her back as only a son could- with the heart that she gave me.
