Pompos, Maria Z., of Jupiter, Florida went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on January 13, 2009. Maria was from Dayton, Ohio, born January 19, 1942 in Germany. Beloved wife of William C. Pompos of 50 years, devoted Mother of Tina M. Kelly, Timothy, Gregory, and Jeffrey Pompos, and a cherished grandmother of 8 Grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2009, from 6 – 9 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM, at Boyd’s Family Funeral Home 1600 N. University Drive Pembroke Pines, Florida. Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 17, 2009, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Chapel, 1500 N. State Road 7 North Lauderdale, Florida.
