Ann M. Reasbeck, 82, of Hollywood, Fla., passed away at home Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015. She died of natural causes and was cared for by Vitas Hospice of Hollywood, Fla. Her attending physician was Dr. Saad Mirza. She was pronounced dead at 12:00 noon. In attendance were her daughters and granddaughter. Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Home cared for her remains.
Born Nov. 1, 1932, in Meadville, she was the daughter of James Sr. and Lima Hill Schreck. She married Philip P. Dutch Reasbeck on Oct. 6, 1956 in Meadville and was blessed with 48 happy years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her loving spouse Philip in 2005, who was an Air Force Korean War veteran of Meadville; son, Michael Barnholdt of Meadville; and siblings James Schreck and William Schreck, and Ruth Murray, all of Meadville.
Surviving siblings are Albert Schreck and Norma Minnis of Meadville; daughters Kimberly of North Carolina, Toni of Florida and Carol Amy of Hawaii; granddaughter Kaneala Asugea of Hollywood, Fla., whom she cherished; sons-in-law, William Alvey of North Carolina and Calvin Kanoa of Hawaii.
Ann attended Meadville High School and worked as a shift supervisor at Talon Inc. She was employed at various jobs through life. Ann was a Methodist who attended services in Hollywood, Fla. She had a lust for life and was a caring soul. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and traveling. Recently joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Hollywood and enjoyed activities with her wonderful brother-in-law, the Honorable Judge James Reasbeck, who was retired. Dear friends included Reggie and Pat Nelson of Hollywood, Fla. She loved to take cruises with friends and traveled frequently with relatives Dona McLaughin and Leila Reasbeck, often to visit friends and family in Meadville.
She was known by many and loved by all. She will be missed by her many surviving nieces, nephews and great-nephews and great-nieces.
Private burial next to her husband Phil will be in a private cemetery in Meadville.
