Aunt Helen,
I will miss so many things about you. Our tight knit family will not be the same. Family seems to have a different meaning without you. Thank you for being so much more than just an aunt to Drew, Samantha and Cody. They will truly miss you and all the fun you brought to their lives. Although it’s painful right now for us, we are comforted by knowing your eternal life has just begun. Heaven is a place of peace. There is no more sickness, no more pain, no tears, no fear, no sadness, no night. Heaven doesn’t have dialysis machines. Heaven’s walls are made of jewels and streets of translusent gold. God has given you a place where we all eventually want to be. I will miss your face but know I will see it again. I will say goodbye with that hope. I love you my dearest, Aunt Helen.

I remember the first time I saw Helen. It was in grade school in Winslow AZ. I thought she was the most beauriful girl I had ever seen. So much so that I was afraid to talk to her for years. The Torrez sisters Helen & Diane were Winslow’s beauty queens in both heart and soul. My heart and thoughts go out to her family as she is and will surely be missed..

To the family of Helen Torrez Davis, I would like to offer condolences in the loss of your mother, sister, aunt and friend. I attended Winslow schools from kindegarten through high school. The things I most remember about Helen were that she was just so beautiful, even as a young girl. She had a wonderful smile, and a voice that I can hear as I sit here writing this note to all of you. Helen was a really kind, sweet person. I am so sorry she is gone from this life, but know for sure she is in a better place.
Bless you all.
