AMMIANO, Marie, 84, of Pembroke Pines, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was the daughter of Mildred and Carl DelTufo. Preceded in death by her husband, Domenick Charles Ammiano and her sister, Theresa Cerasiello. Her memory will always be cherished by her daughter, Donna (Robert) McMinn; son, Joseph (Kelli) Ammiano; grandchildren, Brian McMinn, Lea (Abdiel) Ammiano Donoso; great-grandson, Domenick Donoso; sisters, Anita Squartino, Irene Myers, and Angela Serio; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 3-6 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 3:30 p.m.

I was just about to write a Christmas note to Marie to let her know that I think of her and miss my visits (although perhaps a couple of times a year) to Century Village with her and Domenick and then I had this feeling that prompted me to Google her name. It’s with such sadness that I find this page and learn that she has passed on. Donna, although it’s late, please know that you and your family have my sympathies and deepest condolences. I was so very fond of your mom and dad – theirs really was a true love story and I can only trust that now they are reunited forever. It would certainly be what they both would have wanted. They were so very proud of you and their grandchildren, nieces, nephews… I used to hear stories of all of you. Theirs is a true loss to this world and the lives they affected. Thinking of you.
