Annette (Ciffo) Sandora of Davie, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 75. Originally from Queens, New York, she moved to Hollywood, Florida with her family in the early 1960’s. She and her devoted husband of 57 years, Marino Louis Sandora, raised their family in Pembroke Pines and later moved to Plantation. Annette was a graduate of South Broward high school.
Devoted and loving mother to Louis (Carolyn) Sandora and Theresa Karpinski; Doting Grandma to Anthony Karpinski, Caitlin Sandora, Megan Sandora, Cole Karpinski and Gino Sandora. In addition to her husband, 2 children, and her 5 grandchildren, she is survived by her sister and best friend Marie Cernuto, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Always the first to lend a hand and volunteer, Annette volunteered as the team mom, girl scout leader, cub scout leader, room mom, and friend to all.
Annette was a warm, welcoming, and gracious host, opening her home to hundreds on holidays, special occasions, and family gatherings. Everyone that knew her came to love her authentic and delicious Italian cooking, her positive outlook, great sense of humor, and her selfless generosity.
A Memorial Gathering in honor of Annette’s full and beautiful life are being held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 4:30 to 6:30 followed by a service at 6:30pm, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Home-1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines.
