I am Donna Merritt’s daughter and have known Lou as long as my mother has. He was such an interesting person to be around, always full of stories and information, and he never failed to bring flowers and delicious homemade pies to our family gatherings. We were fortunate to have Lou be part of our Holiday gatherings for the last several years and will miss him greatly! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Manfra family as you navigate through the loss of your Father…so sorry we couldn’t be there but will be thinking of you all!????

I just learned of Mr. Manfra's death today. I am terribly sorry. I have very fond memories of serving with him at Air Station Cape May in 1980 to 1982. He was a role model for me, an outstanding pilot, and all around great man.
