Walter lit up a room and the people in it merely by his presence and the force of his personality. May it somehow be of comfort and help you to know how much his friends cared for Walter and the entire family. Walter brought humor and happiness into the lives of everyone he befriended.

I worked with Walter remotely supporting the BCBS account in Boston. Walter was the “go to” man when adding correspondence to the system. He was a professional and knew his business. He was a joy to work with and hearing of his passing makes me sad. I am glad that he was able to spend some years in sunny Florida before leaving us. I will miss Walter.

To Wally’s family:

I worked many years at both Blue Crss & Eds with Wally. He was a wonderful person who would do anything for you. I was so sorry and shocked to hear what happenned. I lost my daughter to cancer just this past April and know that she and Wally are safely home and looking over us. My prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear of Wally’s sudden passing. I worked with him on the Blue Cross of Mass account and he really great to work with, when I was trying to learn the ropes of project work with the Boston Print Center. He has really been missed since his retirement, and I am shocked to hear this very sad news. My prayers to the family.

Heather, Peggy, Jennifer & Kristin,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad/husband was a great and funny man. Years ago, he always had a comical line he’d say to me and every time I think of him, that’s what I remember most. He could always make people laugh and that’s a wonderful quality. Heather, I’m sorry I couldn’t get down there to lend a hand and give a hug but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. There are no words. If you need anything, I’m just a phone call away. Stay strong. Love you.
