Richard R. Wilder of Lake City, Florida , a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully after a long disabeling illness in Hollywood, Florida. Surrounded and cared for by his wife, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter on Monday, August 17, 2015, at the young age of 72. Richard is survived by his wife, Lois; son, Richard R. Wilder, Jr and his wife, Susan; granddaughters, Lacey Wilder. Elyse Demaro and Cassandra Ace Evangelista; grandson, Mark Demaio; great grandchildren Capri Stone, Jordan and Taylor Evangelista; sisters Barbara Betty and Anne.
Richard was born in Keene, New Hampshire and was a proud US Army Veteran. He relocated in later years from Pembroke Pines, Florida to his retirement location in Lake City, Florida where he raised his horses. He will be forever missed. We love you.

I miss you, Richard…I don’t know how you dealt with it…you were the toughest man …hoping that rainbow was my Mom waiting to show you the way. ..no pain and suffering up there.lots of pain and sufferring here.I will forever miss you…and you know I love you…Susan…p.s. aren’t you proud of me, I never hurt any of your nurses…
