Gilda A. Caballero, age 63, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, of Davie, was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018. She was born on November of 1954, in the beautiful island of Havana, Cuba, to the late Coralia Vera. She left her hometown and migrated to south Florida to offer a better life to her family. She worked hard as a medical equipment technician and was able to care for her loving family. She will be missed deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Gilda is survived by her son, German Mendoza and his wife Angela; brothers, Joey Caballero and his wife Cathy and Ruben Almaguer; grandson, Antonio Mendoza. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 5:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
