Viehl, John Charles, 66, of North Miami passed away Monday, July 5. He is survived by 2 brothers, Robert Viehl, Caren, Edward Viehl, 2 sisters, Janice Larsen, Victor, & Judith Nevadomski, Cyril. Friends may visit from 3 – 5 PM, Saturday at Boyd-Panciera University Dr. Chapel. There will be a Tributes of a Lifetime 4:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, Jul. 17, at Boyd-Panciera University Dr. Chapel.

Jackie was loved by his friends just as he loved all his family. When I talked with Jackie while he was hospitalized recently, he joked and said that he felt that he had lived a good life and we laughed about our youthful adventures and misadventures! But, that was Jackie, always good for a laugh and a joke to enjoy life. He will be missed by all. May his soul rest in eternal peace – God bless you Jackie.

I was actually fortunate to speak with Jackie a few months ago for the first time in nearly 40 years. We were able to talk about old times – wonderful experiences growing up that we both still recalled vividly. I will always remember his positive attitude – able to look on the bright side during times of adversity. My condolences to his family and friends. Best wishes to all.
