Juanita Cruz, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 18, 2018. She was 89 years old. Juanita was born on May of 1929, en “La Isla del Encanto” Encenada, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Victor and Josefa Rivera. She devoted her whole life to her family and they will be forever grateful for having her in their lives. She is survived by her three children, Luis Cruz, Jose (Tracey) Cruz and Ramona (Carmine) Manfre; brothers, Victor (Rosa) Rivera, Hector (Aida) Rivera and Johnny (Esther) Rivera; 6 adored grandchildren and 1 beloved great-grandchild. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 23rd, starting at 9:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Pines Baptist Church, 800 NW 102nd Avenue, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
