Larry Joe Miller, 74, a long time resident of Hollywood, passed away suddenly on November 3, 2017. Born in Flint, Michigan, Miller’s childhood was spent on U.S. Air Force bases in Manchester, England, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Abilene, Texas, which is where he graduated high school. Miller migrated to South Florida in 1976. A long time musician; frontman for the Rockabilly Rockets, toured with the Clash, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, former president of the Broward Art Guild and current proprietor of an art studio and gallery at One Young Circle. He will be remembered by all who knew him as the charismatic, creative, stylish, cool and just a down to earth extraordinary human being he was. He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Miller; sons, Clay Miller, Tyler Miller, John Paul Miller, Dennis Green; and 7 grandchildren. A celebration of life with military honors will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18, 2017, 5:00 PM at Miller’s studio and gallery at the Hollywood ArtsPark, One Young Circle.

Rest in peace my fellow artist. You were a big influence on my early artwork when I first moved to Florida.
