I am grateful I was able to share a few moments together in January at the hospital. I was able to see how frail she was. I wish I could be there now to share time with you all. There is no replacement for Darsy, her huge heart and soul is now in the arms of our Lord, where she is resting after the ordeal of her illness. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with her and will forever hold her in my heart as one of my best friends. Rest in peace Darsy.

It is with heartfelt sympathy for the Backs Family that I send this message of hope. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning light. May Darsy light continue to shine through her beautiful family, her husband Stephen, 2 sons Ethan and Bryan, her mother and sister. May God comfort each of you and give you peace.

I am very proud that I was able to have Stephen Backs as my teacher this year. As Alexander had no kingdoms left to conquer at the end of his reign, you have also conquered all your adjacent kingdoms. We appreciate you very much Stephen, and we await your return in one or two weeks. You have conquered all of our hearts as you show us love. I hope that you can still show us that love when you return. My best regards, Thank You Stephen Backs.

Where do I begin? When Joseph got stationed at South Comm, we purchased a house in Pembroke Pines. We lived on a cul-de-sac beside the Backs Family. Stephen and Darsy took us in as family. We shared many memories together from hanging out on the culdesac to both me and Darsy trying to get pregnant in 2007 to dying Easter eggs to going to birthday parties that seemed like a family reunion. No matter what it was Darsy had a smile on her face. She loved to keep her hair and nails done. She was a sharp dresser too. She was a lady who put God first then family! She LOVED her family! Darsy you fought a good fight! You were always a strong person but during this season you showed how strong you really were. To Stephen, my big brother that always let me vent and never judged, thank you. Thank you for being there for my friend. To Ethan and Bryan your mom loved you. She would want you to continue to be great! If you need us, call us, text us, message us, reach out to us however you see fit. We love you all…. Darsy, my sister friend sleep on in the arms of Jesus! Love you.
