Ruth Rosina Karrick, age 99 of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. She was born on Friday, February 6, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to the late James and Mary Happ.

Ruth has travelled all over the world, she also enjoyed cooking. She remained active in many sports such as golf, bowling and tennis well into her golden years. Ruth enjoyed participating in sports her entire life. She even tap danced in her 70’s!

Ruth enjoyed attending classes through the Osher Life Long Learning Institute in her retirement. She alsovolunteered at both the library and the hospital in her free time.

Beloved sister of the late Gerald, the late James and Mildred of Lincoln Park, Michigan.

She is survived by her 2 children: Mary Brown and her husband, Douglas and Paul Happ; 4 grandchildren: Geoffrey, Amy, Megan and Joel and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ruth will be missed at Sunday dinners and Super Bowl parties at the Brown’s home!
