Nolan, Rona M, 52, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. Rona was a teacher and media specialist for Miami-Dade Public School System. She was pre-deceased by her father, Ronald Nolan; sisters Mary, Michelle, & Nancy; and brothers Ronald & William. She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Nolan of Pembroke Pines and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 7:00 PM at the funeral home where family and friends will gather from 6:00 PM until time of service. I am very close to Rona and her mother,my breakfast partners,we shared many dinners together,we shared many Holidays together.We took local trips to Naples just to eat lunch,we drove around to look at Christmas lights every year,I would deck out our apartments for the Holidays,myself, Rona and her mother loved the Hoildays, Rona you will be missed.

As a teacher on leave, my family and I will honor the life, service and friendship of a dedicated school family member. Imagine working at the actual elementary school you attended as a child as ‘Ms. Nolan’ did!

I have wonderful memories of Rona from our years teaching at North Glade Elementary. She was a very dedicated teacher. My sincere sympathy to her family, you are in my prayers.
