Filomena Andino de Melendez, a devoted mother and grandmother, of Sunrise, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was 95 years old. Born on May 13, 1920, in gorgeous island of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, to the late Jose Andino and Eladia Santos Andino. Preceded in death by son Victor Melendez. Survived by her loving daughters, Lydia Guzman, Elsa Arias, Ada Melendez & Ana Carrera. She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, starting at 10:00 a.m. with a Service at 11:00 a.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
