Alethea McNaught Carnegie Mackie loving and devoted mother and grandmother of Weston, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 9th, 2014 after a short illness. Mackie was born on May 12th, 1934 in Spanish Town in the Parrish of St Catherine, Jamaica West Indies. She migrated to Florida in 1996 to join her only child Kathy Stewart and her family. She is survived by her daughter Kathy, son-in law Christopher and grandchildren Zachary, Nicole and Madison. Niece Jeanette Cole, nephews Herbert and Alton Mathews. Cousins Trevor Val and Gerald Carnegie; Eleanor and Sean Foskin. Tracy Seaton, Beverly Hunt, Debra Carnegie and Donald Carnegie; Pat Hastings; Adam Carnegie Joanna Ellis and Christine Handke, David and Martin Carnegie and many loving friends. Mackie will be remembered by all for her sense of humor and her devotion to her family and friends. Please join us for a celebration of her life Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at 2:00pm at Faith Center 4061 NW 16th St, Lauderhill, Florida. The memorial celebration will be followed by at repast at the church.
