Elias Rivera, 76, of Lake Worth, formerly of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, under the care of Trustbridge Hospice. He was born on December 11, 1939, in Moca, Puerto Rico, to the late Marcos Rivera Hernandez and Aurora Rivera Ruiz. Elias completed his Doctorate Degree and worked as a social worker for the State of Florida. He is survived by his loving children, Esther Rivera, Carmen Rivera and Marcos Rivera. Urn Committal Service will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
