Makar, Mary J., 89, of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013. She is survived by her loving nephews, Mark Gabriel and Paul Gabriel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 16, 9:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Our prayers are with Paul, Mark & family. Very sorry to hear about Aunt Mary.
My Mom always loved being with and talking with Aunt Mary. I fondly remember her visits to Grandma Pregelj’s that usually involved at least one “Tea Reading”. Loved the visits to NYC also. May God Bless

Paul and Mark, our prayers are with you on your loss. I have fond memories of Aunt Mary and I remember the tea readings as well. I’m happy that I got a chance to talk with her a few times when I was home with Mom and she would call to check up on how she was doing. I know Mom appreciated that she would check in on her and Bill always enjoyed talking with her!
