Monk, Donald Ray, 72, of Sunrise, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. He is survived by his wife Jeane Monk; 3 children, Julie A. Schoo, Michael, Donald R. Monk, Jr., Steve Monk, 2 brothers, Charles Monk, Betty, Mark Monk, Pam, and his granddaughter, Olivia. A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010, 10:30 AM at South Florida National Cemetery.

It was my priviledge to get to know Donald.I was amazed at his tolerance and courage. May the peace of God be with him and his family.

Dear Jeane, Richard and I are so sorry for your loss. We were googling people and Don’s obituary came up. I know it’s been a very long time, but we sure did have some good times!
