RAMSAY, Mavis Marjorie, a loving daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Miramar, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017. She was 91 years old. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Samuel Thomas and Rosalee (Carpenter) Thomas. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Ramsay. Survived by children, Fabian (Pauline) Ramsay, Robert (Myrtis) Ramsay, Elizabeth (Robert) Waithe; grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Sarah, Rachel, Kim, Candace, Daniel, Samuel, Katherine and Richard; great-grandchildren, Armand, Jonathon, Zoe, Zaire, Justin, Robert, Caneil, Taylor, Jacob, Ataygi, Amina, Peter, Anthony, Jordyn and Austin. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017, starting at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at
Visitation Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Dade Memorial Park.
