Michael W. Loeb was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 24, 1958 to Marty Loeb and Phoebe Steinhauser. He was the eldest son of 3 siblings. Mike received his formal education at the University of Florida and has been a proud gator ever since, often bleeding the colors orange and blue. He obtained a bachelors degree in accounting and went on to obtain his CPA license.
Mike had an energetic enthusiasm for life, and unmatched kindness. He touched the lives of everyone he met and showered his friends and family with love and laughter. He devoted his life to his 5 beautiful children and his wife. He dedicated all his free time to his children whether it was coaching the little leagues, helping with their school projects or just snuggling with them.

Michael courageously battled and survived non-hodgkins lymphoma back in 1986. In November 2004 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His positive outlook on life and everlasting spirit gave him the strength and determination to fight it for almost 2 years. In view of his positive attitude he has once again touched many lives and has changed many people and their outlook on life. His unique laughter will carry on forever and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mike was an angel and angels belong in heaven. Every life he touched, he enriched. We will forever cherish our time with him on earth. “Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.”

“It’s only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth — and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.” ~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Mike will be missed by all he came in contact with but mostly by his family. Marie, please take comfort in the thought that Mike is pain free now. There will always be a part of Michael with you and the kids and he will never be forgotten.
