Via, Margaret M. age 97 of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was born on Friday, January 20, 1922 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late John and Edith McDonald.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Via, Jr. She is survived by her 4 children: Charles Via, and his wife Abby, Jon Via and his companion Colleen, George Via and his wife Farideh, Carol Weingartner, and her husband William; step-daughter: Anne North; 7 grandchildren: Rachael, Maggie, Daniel, Natalie, Carli, Jennifer & Erica; 6 great-grandchildren: Charlie, Alex, Tessa, Kiera, Maclan and soon-to-be Theodore and brother: Tom McDonald, and his wife Patricia.
Memorial Services to be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 11 AM – 1 PM, with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 12 Noon at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Chapel.

All the Crosby kids send our love to your family at this sad time. Our fathers served together in the 100th Bomb Group and returned to build their lives with Jean and Margaret and children. I remember Mom and Dad talking about your mother and Charlie with great fondness… a friendship forged in the difficult days of World War Two. I was so pleased to be able to connect with Margaret and Carol these last few years. Peace be with your family.
