Fuentes, Filomena, 82, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully on Friday June 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Filomena was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Luis Fuentes and Fidencia Villa-Osorio.
Filomena came to live and work in the Bronx, New York as a teacher, for many years, as she raised her family. She was pre-deceased by her son; Fernando Rivera. She is survived by her daughters; Frances Rivera of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Josephine Fuentes and Nydia Victoria Cruz, Son-in-Law; Eufemio Perez, Jr. of Pembroke Pines, Florida, grandchildren; Osiris Martinez, Yonkers, New York, Daisy Burgos of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Casie Perez of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Cailyn Perez of Pembroke Pines, Florida and her brother Fidel Fuentes of the Bronx, New York.
Memorial Services will be announced at a future time.
