Max Allen Frye, 82 of Hollywood, Florida passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence. Born March 23, 1934, in Caldwell County, N.C. he was the son of the late Quint Frye and Corrine Williams Frye. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his second wife Carolyn Frye; and one brother, Jack Frye.

Mr. Frye was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Granite Falls. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Peel of East Bend, N.C., Sandra Willard of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Carla Sarvis of Asheboro, N.C.; two brothers, David Frye and wife Cathy of Granite Falls, and Gerald Frye of Granite Falls; one sister, Carolyn Davis of Granite Falls; sister-in-law, Barbara Frye of Granite Falls; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive Friday, April 8, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
