I Am Free Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now; He set me free!

I will forever remember your fun-loving personality and your kindness to everyone, your beautiful smile and knowing the little bear sent to you brought you comfort. I want to share a most favorite excerpt from a story I treasure: " At night, you will look up at the stars, my star will just be one of the stars for you. And so you will love to watch all the stars in the heavens…they will all be your friends. All men have the stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. But all these stars are silent. You-you alone-shall have the stars as no one else has them. In one of the stars, I shall be living. In one of them, I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the stars at night. You-only you-will have stars that can laugh. And when your sorrow is comforted, you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. " So at night if you are lonely, look to the one star shining the brightest, and I will be living in that star and together we will laugh again! -excerpt from Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery God Bless You, Jocki and your loving family!
