SCHMID, Ronald Joseph, of Davie, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 16, 2018. He was 70 years old. Born on November 10, 1947, in Staten Island, New York, to the late Charles Otto Schmid and Beatrice (Licknack) Schmid. After attending college, Ronald went on to work in the medical field as a nurse technician. His memory will always be cherished by his sister, Pattie (Skip) Stokes; brother, Robert (Rita) Schmid; niece, Joyce; and nephews, Michael, Jesse and Andy. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint David Catholic Church on Saturday, March 3, at 10:00 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
