I wish at this time to express my deepest sadness at the passing of ‘Uncle Fred’ a man whose acquaintance I made only this year after hearing that name hundreds of time over more than forty years of friendship with the Josephs and Johnson families. The loss of a loved one is always such a deep and emotional thing especially when that person showed none of the usual signs of fading health. It is sincerely hoped that he felt no pain as he started his journey and may his soul REST IN PEACE. My condolences to all the family members, friends and loved ones who share this loss at this moment of grieving. >>>>>>>>Bacchus<<<<<<<<

I remember one X-Mas when I was little girl as every X-Mas we would go over Aunt Ida and Uncle Fred’s house, I ran in the house to give my Aunt and Uncle some hugs and kisses. Now every X-Mas along with our X-Mas gift they would give me and my sister $5. This paticular X-Mas… Uncle Fred stood up and said, “Look ow yuh a get big sa, nuh moe fife dolla, ya a get ten dolla now.” :- As I got older I moved away from Florida and saw less of the family, but my love never left and his smile and laughter always stayed with me. Uncle Fred, I know your physical presence is no longer, but I know GOD has tasked you as my ANGEL. Always in my heart —-> Forever Love

I have fond memories of my granduncle-Uncle Fred. Every time I visited Florida in recent times I ensured that no matter how brief my stay was, I paid him a visit. I last saw him in October 2007. Uncle Fred was pleasant, always a gentleman, with a strong and indomitable spirit. I will miss the many stories he had to share with me during my visits to Florida and I will miss updating him on how his sister Madge was doing. He had grown so accustomed to being self-sufficient and independent that I am sure that the last few months of his illness must have really been difficult for him. Uncle Fred, you are now in a place free of all the pain and all your worries. God’s peace be with you Uncle. Sleep well. Wanda

Uncle Fred was wise and a very good listener, always ready with advice. He was a pleasant, kind and helpful person. Uncle Fred was a caring “big brother” to sister Madge. His sense of humour endeared him to all of us and made us look forward to being in his company. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
May his soul rest in peace, and light perpetual shine upon him.

God put us here on earth,
To love, to live, and to learn,
To obey His Golden Rules
And for Him we should be firm.
He wants us to be an example
Of all that He stands for,
To love everyone on Earth
And to have Faith and Trust and more.
We are in a way His disciples
For the years we live on earth,
He wants us to spread His word
With compassion and much mirth.
God put us here on earth,
He has a reason for us being here,
Our lives have a definite purpose,
Trust God and never fear.
