Neville Elborn Butler, 90 of North Miami Beach passed away on January 11, 2020. He was born to William Butler and Beatrice Emmanuel on July 18, 1929 in Sangre Grande, Trinidad & Tobago.
Neville moved to New York in 1963 and worked in the newspaper industry where he was a Journalist & Photographer. In the late 70’s, Neville moved to South Florida where he was a Business Entrepreneur with diverse business ventures including Immigration, Mortgage and Real Estate.
He was a father figure and mentor to many people from all walks of life. He had a special saying, “The Five H’s, Happy,Holy, Hearty ,Healthy and Humble”. He is predeceased by his brother, Desmond Butler; sisters, Lucy Hinds and Merle Superville and daughter Dawn Wilson. Neville is is survived by his wife of over 20 years Jenetha; children, Lois Butler, Bill Butler, Lisa Hillard, Sherry Wilson-King and Mark Wilson; sister Lucille Butler and Pearl Guevara along with fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A special gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home located at 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, on Saturday, January 18th, from 10:00- 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 followed by interment at Vista Memorial Gardens.
