Slobusky, Alfred  “Al” W.  84, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully June 27, 2018. Born June 13, 1934 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1951.  Al served in the Army during the Korean War, after which he received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Miami.   He founded Economic Consultants, Inc., specializing in feasibility studies for banks,  and testified as an expert witness in State and Federal hearings mainly for banking and financial institutions.   Al served as President and Chairman of  American Bancshares, Inc., a bank holding company.  He was an avid snook fisherman at Flamingo, Everglades National Park.   Al is survived by his children Sam, Lynn and Reed,  and his loving companion, Sherrill Rigot Marks.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
